   What is Pumice (bims)?: Pumice name cames from Italian language and called differently in other languages. In Turkish language pumice know as sponge Stone,excrescence Stone and heel Stone. Pumice is a volcanic rock type. The structure of pumice is a volcanic glass. The acidic pumice is the most common pumice on the earth. The colour of acidic pumice is white to gray. Pumice has very porous structure. The denstiy is 0,5-1,0 gr/cm3. Provides very good heat and sound insulation. Pumice does not contain crystal water. to be continued >>>>
