What is Pumice (Bims)? How was it become to existence?

Pumice name cames from Italian language and called differently in other languages. In Turkish language pumice know as sponge Stone,excrescence Stone and heel Stone. Pumice is a volcanic rock type. The structure of pumice is a volcanic glass. The acidic pumice is the most common pumice on the earth. The colour of acidic pumice is white to gray. Pumice has very porous structure. The denstiy is 0,5-1,0 gr/cm3. Provides very good heat and sound insulation. Pumice does not contain crystal water. There is magma pockets which to be formed partial melting of basalt. This magma absorbs all materials which can be liquid or gas in normal conditions at very high pressure. (H2O,CO2,F ) The effect of pressure reduces with movements of ground. Then volcanic blast starts and the gasses blasts from inside of magma. And the viscosity of magma and the heat of harden increases. PUmice which to be formed flings out from crater with very big gas blast.
