Pumice (Bims) Stone has excellent physical and mechanical characteristics which to be used in buildings and comes from German language as bims. Pumice has similiar characteristics with perlite therefore pumice can be use instead of perlite. Perlite needs big investments and production costs but pumice (Bims) does not.
